Associate Veterinarian Position in Beautiful Long Island City

Long Island City

Long Island City at night is safe, easy-going and comes with a fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline.

Long Island City Veterinary Center, a beautiful, three-year-old practice, located just across the East River from New York City is looking for a third associate veterinarian to help us keep pace with our success in this great little town.

Long Island City: a Great Place To Be A Vet

If you’ve never been to Long Island City, you’re in for treat.  Though the town is only one subway stop away from Manhattan, Long Island City is small, quaint, and easy going with dozens of inexpensive, but delicious restaurants, cool shops, and a vibrant, young community.  It’s got a wonderful neighborhood feel.  The area’s best dog park is just across the street from our practice and we regularly have visits from our clients who are strolling up the avenue with their pets.

Paperless Practice and State of the Art

Long Island City Veterinary Center is a well-run, paperless practice.  Our managment team includes a certified veterinary practice manager and licensed veterinary technician both of whom oversee our skilled staff of licensed nurses and trained support team members.  Our lead, client-care representative has been with the practice since its opening day and helps us with our superb client follow through.

Emphasis on Prevention and Personalized Veterinary Care

We’re the right match for the experienced veterinarian that believes in preventative dentistry and early disease detection. Our clients treat their pets like family members and they’re looking for veterinary care that keeps their best buddy healthy, happy and long lived. We want a doctor that enjoys being empowered; that appreciates being part of a respectful work environment; and who likes collaborating with the other veterinarians on our team. Our Medical Director, practice owner Dr. Keith Manning, is a supportive supervisor and mentor.
